I can’t say enough great things about my experience with Sam Leman Cadillac, and especially with John Schaefer. From beginning to end, John completely changed what I thought a car-buying experience could be. At no point did I feel like I was being “sold” a vehicle. There was no pressure, no typical back-and-forth, and none of the stress that usually comes with purchasing a car. Instead, John made the entire process comfortable, straightforward, and genuinely enjoyable. It felt more like working with someone I had known and dealt with for years rather than a typical car buying experience. John took the time to answer every question, made sure I was completely comfortable with everything, and went above and beyond throughout the entire process. His professionalism, honesty, communication, and genuine approach made a significant impact on my experience. Sam Leman Cadillac should be extremely proud to have someone like John representing their dealership. People like him are the reason customers come back and, more importantly, the reason they tell their friends and family where to go. We had a great experience at Sam Leman Chevy in Champaign! I had been working with Lucas over the phone throughout the experience and then the day of, Lucas ended up having to be off & Jacek did a phenomenal job helping us throughout the process! Can’t recommend this dealership enough. They were polite & easy to work with. Could tell they really cared about us as customers & not just the sale. Would definitely go back in the future!

From the moment I walked into Sam Leman, everyone was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The entire team made the experience comfortable and stress-free, and I never felt pressured. A special thank you to Rex, who was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with throughout the process. He took the time to answer all of my questions and truly wanted to help me find the right vehicle. Even though I didn't end up finding the vehicle I was looking for this time, I would absolutely recommend Sam Leman to anyone looking for a great car-buying experience. I'll definitely be back in the future. Thank you all for such a positive experience!

Check in for service wasn’t organized. Check out was a disaster. Checking there was a group of 4 employees standing around a service desk laughing around while three customers waited to be checked in. At check out the solo service advisor working at 4 pm could not find my paperwork or keys. I found them sitting on top of another service advisor’s desk. Once found they had to enter more things into the computer and another 10 minute wait. After printing I was passed to another service advisor who promptly told me to tap or slide my card in. No review of services provided, no statement of total of the bill for today. I had $2600 worth of services provided. I would think that you would want me to know how much my bill was and everything I was paying for. I was very excited when Sullivan was purchased by Sam Lehman. My first experience was great. Now it looks like things are right back to the way things were at Sullivan for the last three years that forced us to find an alternative source for service. Being a family that only drives GM products, Cadillac and Chevrolet we would prefer to do service at a GM dealership however after this experience we may be looking to find an alternative

Carroll Ray was the nicest guy you could every wanna work with. They treated us so well you couldn't have asked for a better car buying experience . They worked very hard to get my payment where I wanted it, discounted car without me asking to get it done. Great team will definitely recommend them to anyone.
